Frequently Asked Questions
Comfortable and casual clothing suited for the season is best. We recommend layers, as temperatures in Livermore Valley wine country can vary from morning to late afternoon. Comfortable walking shoes are a must since we visit working vineyards with uneven dirt and gravel terrains (stilettos and high heels are not recommended).
Not at all! Our tours are designed for everyone—from first-time tasters to seasoned wine connoisseurs. Our friendly drivers and hosts provide lighthearted, informative commentary on winemaking history, making the day educational, interactive, and above all, fun.
Yes! On our signature public excursions (like the Sip & Savor Wine Pairing Tour), all winery tasting fees, custom tastings, and a gourmet lunch are fully included in the ticket price. For custom private events and charters, tasting fees may vary or be paid directly depending on the custom route and wineries you select.
Absolutely! We warmly welcome zero-proof guests to enjoy the vintage rides, gourmet lunch, and beautiful vineyard views alongside their group. We provide delicious non-alcoholic refreshments (like sparkling zero-proof cider and premium mocktails) so everyone can celebrate together.
For the safety and comfort of all guests, all passengers on our public wine-tasting excursions must be 21 years of age or older with a valid ID. Pets are not permitted on public tours, except for trained ADA-certified service animals in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Public tour tickets are fully refundable or reschedulable up to 7 days prior to your scheduled tour date. Cancellations made within 7 days of the tour are non-refundable. For private charters, please refer to your custom charter agreement for deposit schedules and cancellation terms.
Tours run beautifully rain or shine! Our vintage-style Trolleys are equipped with protective clear weather curtains to block rain and wind, keeping the interiors cozy. During high heat, we optimize route stops to prioritize comfortable indoor barrel rooms and tasting areas.
We recommend booking private events at least 2 to 4 months in advance, especially for weekends during peak wine season (May through October) and holiday light tours in December. This ensures your preferred Trolley is available and gives us time to secure reservations at your desired wineries.
Due to their historic vintage chassis and authentic open-air stairs, our vintage cable cars are not equipped with wheelchair lifts. However, we are fully committed to accommodating guests of all abilities. We have modern, ADA-accessible group transport available for private charters and events. Please contact us in advance so we can coordinate accommodations.
